One‑Year Warranty Policy

One‑Year Warranty Policy

Last Updated: 10 Jan 2026

1. Coverage and Duration

LoopTheory warrants that its products will be free from manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship for one (1) year from the date of purchase. If a defect arises and a valid claim is received within the warranty period, LoopTheory will, at its option and at no cost to you, repair the defect, replace the product with a new equivalent product, or refund the purchase price.

This warranty applies only to the original purchaser with proof of purchase. It does not transfer to any subsequent owner.

2. What Is Covered

  • Defects in materials and workmanship that arise under normal use.

  • Failure of buckles, clasps or hardware due to manufacturing faults.

3. What Is Not Covered

This warranty does not cover:

  • Normal wear and tear, cosmetic damage (e.g. scratches, staining), changes in colour or texture from daily use.

  • Damage resulting from misuse, abuse, accident, negligence, unauthorised modification, or improper care.

  • Damage caused by exposure to chemicals, extreme temperatures or water beyond a product’s stated water‑resistance.

  • Products purchased from unauthorised resellers or second‑hand markets.

  • Shipping costs for returning an item that is not deemed defective.

4. How to Make a Warranty Claim

To make a claim within the warranty period, please email support@looptheory.co.uk with:

  • Your order number and proof of purchase.

  • A description of the defect and, if possible, clear photos of the issue.

  • Your preferred remedy (repair or replacement).

We may ask you to return the item to us. If we confirm the defect falls under this warranty, we will provide a prepaid return label and arrange repair or replacement. If the item is found not to be defective or outside warranty, return shipping costs may be the customer’s responsibility.

5. Remedies

If a covered defect is confirmed, LoopTheory will at its discretion:

  • Repair the product using new or refurbished parts,

  • Replace the product with a new equivalent item, or

  • Refund the purchase price if repair or replacement is not reasonably possible.

A replacement product assumes the remaining term of the original warranty. Repairs or replacements do not extend the original warranty period.

6. Statutory Rights

This warranty adds to your legal rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015. In many cases, it may be easier to use your statutory rights to obtain a repair, replacement or refund. For example, you have up to six years (five years in Scotland) to make a claim for faulty goods. Nothing in this warranty affects those rights.

The warranty paperwork should tell you how long the warranty lasts and what you’re entitled to (refund, repair or replacement). When making a claim, customers will need to provide proof of purchase and details of the problem.
